great piece! sad story...have some fun man! do/draw whatever makes you happy.
Thanks for the words of encouragement bro. Means a lot
welcome back xD
a bit more of cleaning up the stuff in the clouds and this would get 5 stars from me. really good stuff
very interesting landscape. made me google if deserts can even be flooded. i thought the water would just run through the sand and vanish in giant groundwater rservoirs or something like that, but it seems like it actually happens! well.."the more you know"
i was just thinking that i would like seeing your characters in some kind of bigger context..and now i did read you are creating a story with them. so where can i read it? ^^
Thanks man! Im still working on it, plan on sharing parts of it it once im satisfied with it.. also im not sure how I would share it on newgrounds without flooding the board lol so theres that.
great landscape! where do you live to get the inspiration to make those nice sceneries?
Thank you! I live in Czech Republic, but everything I do comes straight from my mind, I don't paint the real places usually. :)
i can not stop thinking about kulve taroth when i look at a massive horned creature covered in gold like this...i played too much. again those brushstrokes are superb.
this looks pretty nice..but not for long. i think it might be just me but a landscape like this gives my eyes no point to rest upon. they keep wandering from high contrast to high contrast trying to find the point of interest. i know it was quite some work and i am by NO means a city painting expert, but whatever the focal point is here, enhance its impact. if this was my painting then i would play around with the particles in the air, the dirt of the city in combination with the natural light source and their shadow a little bit more
Thanks for the feedback! I think this has to do with my own bad choices, cityscapes are probably one of my least known things to approach, I wanted one tower to stand out the most but I thought it would become too bland then I probably added too much unnecessary detail and as such lost the main focal point of the piece.
not really active anymore on NG but i come and check it out from time to time.
