i am thinking about why i like this one. maybe the contrast of the overall simple and calm shape of the composition, in comparison to the rough, unrefined or better, wild brushstrokes ? can someone find better words for this? what was the core or most important part of this painting for you? to me it is its "hands" and shapes and dynamic they create.

omg i once thought about a picture like this one. i even made some pencil drawings back then haha xD i am just glad i am not the only one, so at least i can see it finished! must have been the smurfs who fed our imagination or so..
i like the green shrooms but somehow i cannot take my eyes from this sky. i can almost taste the heavy swamp-air when i look at it.

Thank you! And be sure to send me the drawing you did if you happen to still have it somewhere would love to see it!

the perspective and the background...you are really good at this. i also saw some nicely done water in one of your backgrounds. nice!

sweeeet! this is like a stairway to giant dune worm-pussy-eyeball heaven, made of drugged afro furries. thats just golden xD

    Kilcra responds:

Hahaha that's the best description for anything I've ever heard xD

for a 5 hour exam this is pretty much awesome! well done! wish i could go back in time to enroll in a shool that tells me to draw 5 hours. instead of going to a shitty shift job lol..i am stupid. someone noted that the little finger in the stylized shadow of the hand looks unreal. to that i would say reality does in fact sometimes look very unreal. it is a bit inspirational in that way.
    cheers!

    good sauce!

wow! you have a style and i like it. this is a fave now. your paintings hosted here on NG look like everything in your universe was infected by some kind of super adaptive lifeform/disease/parasite/fungi- thing and it sparks my imagination. ..that and it also looks like it is a shitload of work! how long did this piece take until it was finished? do you earn money as an illustrator or is this just a hobby?

    MrCreeep responds:

Thanks! Yeah, fungus plays a large role in this place. This piece is small, 4x10 in. It took me a session to draw, and two sessions to ink and one to color. And about an hour and a half of gel pen high lights. Around five days. I deliver pizza during the day. I'd like to draw for a living though.

man i really need to learn how to leave out details and still make it look as professional as you do. this is an interesting character in a nice setting..makes one want to learn more about it.
i have no professional training..so if you have time then give me a few hints on how to improve please. =)

    fondimon responds:

Thank you for all your nice words!!! I have a YouTube channel and i'm going to be showing my process on there :) check it out because there is going to be lots to come. Oh, and also if you have any pieces you want me to do like a paint over on just let me know.

love the dystopian mood it gives off. amazing how much you can archieve with a few well placed colours

the changes you chose to make made me smile. even the little guy got glasses! xD nicely done!...also looks like a lot of work.

    MiraKH responds:
