nice face :D what is the thing on her hood(on top of her head. some kind of gem maybe?)? it grabs my attention.

CowFz responds:

Thanks! guess so lol just wanted to add some detail the hood :p

Looks great! what medium did you use to make it?

HappytoDraw responds:

Thanks alot! The picture is digitally done in Procreate from the sketch to the finished piece.

Looks great! Reminds me of monster hunter..a bit odogaron in the rotten vale flair.
You think it is mandatory for us artists to learn 3d sculting as well? I am unsure about investing a lot of time into this, but it seems so very convenient once learned...you think 3d sculpting makes art look more generic?

Eriyal responds:

As boring as this answer may seem, you just have to figure out what works for you. If you enjoy 3D sculpting and you think it could bring you an advantage, absolutely go for it. And if not, then don't.
I mean, plenty of people still draw/paint with traditional materials and some of them earn quite a nice amount for themselves.
Another good example would be anime and manga artists. The style is pretty much 2D and yet it's holding up really well and you can make a living off of it without any knowledge of any 3D programs.
So long story short, you do you! And if you want to make a living off of it, make sure to research the market you're interested in.

I love it..then again i also like frank frazetta (as mentioned below xD) it feels like an homage to him. Great stuff!

Robocorn responds:

Thanks a lot!
Frazetta was a lot better at picking colors than I am (among other things) but I tried really hard to capture his really emotive lighting and composition

nice light and colour!

DaemmonArts responds:

Thank you so much!

i really like the walls of it's tunnel covered in spiderwebs.

DaemmonArts responds:

Thank you! :)

haha 3 hours? damn i would not get half as far in such a short time. It captures a nice mood :)

Jadago responds:

Thanks you ^^
Im glad you like it :)
And yea. I dunno why Im so fast with sceneries. Everything else takes me longer, so you might beat me when it comes to characters, figures or anything else than landscapes xD

this one reeks of frontpage! you seem as good as i want to be xD

JimmyNijs responds:

Apparently it did hit frontpage on November the 13th, so thank you very much for your support. :)
I'm glad you look up to me like that, but don't forget, I still have so very much to learn myself! I'm not nearly at the level I want to be myself lmao.

i like this mood, because this is the moment before i usually jump off angry at my self and do something at least remotely productive.

CowFz responds:

Aye pretty much the same here, hopefully the upset phases don't last long for the both of us :P

i saw this somewhere else ..i hope no one stole it. anyways! it made me smile :D thanks for sharing

CowFz responds:

Glad it made you smile~ Usually people that steal stuff don't care if they get found out or not as they tend to be kids, so there's really nothing I can do but hope that it wasn't

not really active anymore on NG but i come and check it out from time to time.
